Frequently Asked Questions

Footwear - Our boots and shoes run True to Size (US Branock). We recommend taking your average dress shoe/boot size if you are a standard (D) or borderline wide (E) width. We recommend going up a half size if you are a solid E or EE width. See our fitting information here.

Belts - Our belt are true to size. We recommend adding 2" inches to your waist size when wearing trousers as measured with measuring tape. For example, if your waist size with jeans is 36", we recommend taking a size 38".

Every pair of Legacy shoes and boots are traditionally hand welted and lasted in our small workshop.

While this takes considerably more skill and time than using a machine, the result is better-fitting, better-aging, and longer lasting.

All our belts, wallets, and small leather goods are hand-sewn. Stitching by hand ensures a more secure stitch and superior overall finish.

Legacy Bootworks is based in Plano, Texas. We design and ship all our products from Plano, and are an exclusively online business. We are entirely family-run and look forward to ensuring your experience is seamless as we work together.

Our Boots, shoes, and leather goods are made in our small shop in Saigon, Vietnam. While many producers choose to use a select dozen factories mass-producing shoes in Spain or China, our small workshop allows us to spend considerably more time with each piece through production while providing a more unique end product.

Footwear & Belts - Upon placing your order, footwear and belts are crafted and delivered within ~3-4 weeks.

All other goods - Items will ship within 1-2 business days and be delivered within 3 business days.

Items may be returned in unworn condition within 10 days of delivery. We offer returns or exchanges:

  • Returns: Returns may take the form of a monetary refund or gift card. A shipping label will be provided.
  • Exchanges: Exchanges are free on orders over $250. A shipping label will be provided.

Returns in exchange for monetary refunds and Exchanges for orders under $250 are subject to a $25 restocking fee. Please see more about our returns and exchanges here
